If your toothbrush isn't powering up, accepting charge or holding charge, the issue is most likely due to poor contact between the battery terminals and the new battery. To fix this, take out the battery and carefully adjust the positive and negative terminals by prying out the terminals to ensure a secure connection with the battery (see image).
