XTAR MX8 8 Slot Smart battery charger

The XTAR MX8 8-Slot Smart Charger is a high-capacity, multi-chemistry charging system designed to manage a wide range of rechargeable batteries in a single unit. It is the first charger in its class to independently support 1.5V lithium AA/AAA, 1.2V NiMH, and 3.6/3.7V lithium-ion cells across eight separate slots.

Each bay operates independently with automatic battery detection, applying the correct charging profile, current, and termination method for the inserted cell. This allows safe, simultaneous charging of mixed chemistries and sizes without user intervention.

Powered via USB-C input, the MX8 delivers regulated power distribution across all channels, ensuring stable performance even under full load. LED indicators provide clear real-time status for each slot, including charging progress and completion.

With voltage-based charge termination and support for a wide range of cylindrical formats—including up to 21700 Protected cells - the MX8 offers a unified, intelligent solution for complex battery management needs.
